Welcome to Bar & Bistro Monroe in the South of Antwerp. The Gentplaats is located on the border of the Old and the New South, which was the inspiration for the food & drinks, but also for the design. In collaboration with designer Kurt Hereygers of the architectural firm Not Before Ten, we created a cozy store in which a combination of classic elegance and modern idiosyncratic elements can be found.
Everyone will find something to their liking in Monroe, whether you come for a good beer, a nice glass of wine, an expertly made cocktail, a tasty bistro dish or an extensive brunch. Enjoyment is written in capital letters with us, both inside our stylish bar & bistro and outside on our wonderfully spacious terrace.
